Birmingham Model Yacht Club extends a warm welcome to experienced radio yacht sailors and anyone interested discovering the sport.

​Whether you are an experienced offshore or dinghy sailor, have a basic knowledge or even know nothing about sailing, you are sure to find radio controlled yachting both fun and ever challenging.

Prospective members are very welcome to join us on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon’s from 1pm at Sutton Sailing Club, Monmouth Drive, Sutton Coldfield B73 6JL

Our sailing water is deep and weed free, where we are kindly hosted by Sutton Sailing Club, using their heated clubhouse with all the usual facilities. Tea/coffee is served every race day.

For those who are already radio sailors we regularly race the following classes: International One Meter, Dragon Flight 95, Dragon Force 65, RG65, Micro Magic and Footy s. Members are, however, also welcome to sail other designs e.g. A Class, Victoria's, Lasers etc.
