Fleet Captain - Mike Stevenson
Results for 15th October
The black scores are for the race fleet as a whole. The red scores are for the individual class fleets arranged in winning order.
A good turnout enjoyed a pleasant afternoon's racing with nice dry conditions and a fairly steady W-NW breeze.
In spite of having other concerns (the birth of his first child imminent), Adam remained true to form and put in a great Micro Magic performance.
Clive virtually unbeatable in the fleet as a whole and a comfortable RG65 winner.
Thanks to Officials John Meredith and Ron Hall and Ian and Malcolm in the galley.

Results for 17th September
The black scores are for the race fleet as a whole. The red scores are for the individual class fleets arranged in winning order.
Murphy's Law (insert your own version) seemed to apply today.
The largest number of Mixed Fleet sailors of the year met possibly the worst sailing conditions of the year (so far!)
Fairly constant rain combined with fairly inconstant wind to make for a soggy and frustrating afternoons sailing.
A surprising number of boats fell by the wayside considering the benign sailing conditions, but well done to Adam in Micro Magics, Mark in RG65s, and Peter Shepherd sailing a class new to BMYC, the Abington Park MYC version of the Wee Nip.
Peter Henderson stoically sailed a lonely Victoria and must have been very uncomfortable on his electric buggy in the rain.
A warm welcome to potential new member Rob Hudson from Burton who unfortunately suffered a failure of his new Dragon Force in the first race (switch or battery connector?). This is early days for him, and the boat will get sorted in time.

A light to moderate south westerly made for "interesting" sailing at times.

Robin (38) competing with his RG65 "Dragon Force" for the first time with encouraging results.

Results for 16th July 2013
The black scores are for the race fleet as a whole.
The red scores are for the Micro Magic fleet. There were insufficient RG65s and Victorias for make a race.
Very light and variable westerly winds again made for interesting and sometimes frustrating racing. However it seems that
cream tends to rise to the top and Graham again showed the way home. A second for Roger shows he's getting the hang of it and will be someone to watch out for!
John Meredith suffered a sail servo failure and Clive Hartland a probable sail winch failure.
Many thanks to birthday boy Clive for tea break biccies.
