A strong westerly straight down the lake meant that the right rig was essential. Well done to Graham with a clean sweep sailing a "D" rig.

Light, variable northwest to northeast winds (some of the time) - bit flukey but the best skippers make their own luck.
Some Don Stokes pictures here.

A nice hot sunny day with some wind most of the time, the usual variable stuff from the dam. Very close racing with Graham Tite first on countback by virtue of winning the last race.

Warm sunny day, pleasant company, wind up and down. Graham Tite well out in front followed by Alan Skitt. Mike Stevenson coming in a commendable third. Then from 4th to 7th very close nice to see some new names in the top half. We all need to up our game with Brian Morris (Blue Nose) coming up the fleet. Big thanks to Robin Webb and Mick Brown for running the races ( we all need to take turns in doing a duty). Thanks as always to Ian Apps for the refreshments. Thanks to every one for sailing in fair manner. I was rubbish but still enjoyed myself, nice to win but unless you have other competitors there are no winners, everyone contributes all the way down the field. (GS).

A brisk, cold north easterly greeted a good turnout of 13 skippers for the first of this "summers" MM races. Usual suspects near the top but others sailing new to them or re-rigged boats will certainly improve with time. Clive officiated, Roger scored and Ian refreshed us.
